About Blue Con Projects
Blue Con Projects is a growing company that prides itself in providing excellent service and quality workmanship. We are proud to call ourselves true artisans. We love doing creative, customised products that provide unique solutions for our customers needs. We are dedicated to service excellence and quality workmanship.
Our Founder
Theo Geldenhuys started Blue Con Projects 18 years ago, with a reputation for quality and trustworthy workmanship, it has flourished into the full- service company that it is today.
Theo has always had a penchant for entrepreneurship – starting from when he was 8 years old and started his first business – mowing lawns. When he reached high school, he added a carwash and trailer rentals to his list of businesses – he’s always had a passion for finding his own way and creating work that makes an impact.
Theo studied at the well-known artisanal college, Eastcape Training Centre where he qualified as a plumber.
After working as a tradesman for a couple of years, Theo branched out and was the Operations Manager for the biggest pipe re-lining company in South Africa where he learned to flex his management and organisational skills. From there, he moved into a Project Manager role for Chevron (now Astron Energy), to manage the overhaul and reroute of the water supply for all the refinery buildings. But Theo’s entrepreneurial spirit never waned, and he decided it was time to create a business that he was truly passionate about. And so, launched Blue Con Projects.
Borne out of his passion for restoration, renovation, creativity and artisan trades, Blue Con Projects has gone from strength to strength, creating some breath-taking homes for our clients.
Theo is a qualified artisan, and is licensed in plumbing, solar and heat-pump installation.
